Robert Okeke has lost everything. All his possessions, his son and his fiancée when his house in Mozambique was ravaged by Cyclone Idai.
In the close-knit community, accusations of Robert abusing his fiancée quickly fly. With nothing to lose, Nigerian-born Robert decides to leave in search of greener pastures.
He teams up with his best friend, Omari, and the sudden death of his fiancée’s father leaves them with no option but to flee the country.
Robert soon learns that Omari is keeping many secrets, including the mysterious parcels that were also destroyed in the cyclone.
In South Africa, Robert bumps into Olufemi, an old school friend, and asks for a job. Robert is about to discover the secrets of the parcels and the dangers they contain.
About the author
Milton Bongi Sibiya was born in 1970, in an area known as Schoemansdal, in the Mpumalanga province. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Senior Secondary Teacher’s diploma. Professionally, he works as a history teacher in the district of Amajuba, in Kwazulu Natal. As a passionate writer, he has written a number of articles.
In 2020, he published his first novel titled, ‘No Longer a Giant.’ Heaven is watching is his second novel.
